Mr. Dipso Maniac is confronted with a grave decision: forgive the person who killed him or exact revenge. But there’s a twist... If Dipso allows them to die, the two will be condemned to live another lifetime together, which will probably go as badly as the other lifetimes, although they'l be together. The fucked up downside of being "soul mates".
Under the guidance of the Bartender, his Case Worker with hidden secrets, and aided by Katie, a troubled young woman who becomes the "conduit," Dipso must traverse a path of forgiveness to break the unending cycle of suffering—or not.
LIMBO explores love, redemption, and the profound and binding choices that can last across lifetimes.
It is a feature OR a season-long procedural, like The Sinner, where the Bartender gains ground throughout season one with their own sub-plot that intertwines as seasons go on, as they learn they might be playing as well as getting played.

Twenty-five years later, Nanette returns to the US to be the legal guardian for her two orphaned nieces: Cedar, the queer introvert, and Sanford, the troubled, manic genius. As Sanford's unspoken grief unravels her, she hatches a plan to use Nanette’s continuing addiction to change Nanette's memories and, therefore, her reality. If all goes as planned, Auntie Nanette will believe she is Sanford’s mother – and they will be a happy family, but when Cedar discovers that she will be left out, things don't go as Sanford planned.
